Doing Business With Us
- Contact us to discuss what we can help you with or to let us know you will be sending (or dropping off) work to our studio.
- If shipped, once we receive your pieces, we will contact you to let you know the package has arrived safely. If you need recommendations regarding how to safely package a piece for shipment, see our “suggested packing” page.
- We will contact you with a condition/restoration report and quote within a week of receipt of the pieces. There is no charge for this assessment.
- If you’d like to go ahead with the work as outlined, sign the authorization on the report and fax/email/mail it back to our studio. This will add your work to our queue. Average turn around time is 4 to 6 weeks.
- As soon as the work is completed, we will contact you.
- The completed pieces will be wrapped in archival material and packaged safely in a flat package (cardboard/masonite combination) for shipping or pick-up. Due to risk of damage, we typically do not ship restored pieces in tubes.
- Payment is made before shipping or at time of pick-up. Some orders may require a 50% deposit for us to begin the work. We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.
- In addition to shipping costs, a nominal fee will be assessed for pieces packed for shipping. Also, please understand that we do not hold insurance coverage for packages in-transit. If you’d like to insure your package through the shipper, please let us know before shipping, thanks.
