The book and map you repaired arrived yesterday. I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the repairs/restoration you performed. This item is a very rare piece. I purchased it from a very reputable book dealer who I have done business with many times in the past. When the book arrived, the large and extremely detailed map had split nearly into two pieces during shipping. It was heartbreaking. I did not wish to contact the book dealer because I did not want my money back, I simply wanted the book and map as promised (whole and complete), and in my collection. You and your staff made that possible. The repair/restoration to the map is incredible. It is as if the damage never happened. This is maybe the 3rd time we’ve done business? I must say I will continue to send you any and all books and maps I acquire that need the most detailed and expert repairs and restoration. You guys are the best.

I wanted to tell you I was absolutely amazed at what you were able to accomplish. Foxing, water marks and acid lines have disappeared while the maps have retained that warm aged tone that you want to see. Truly exceptional conservation work, accomplishing much more than I expected. Seeing what you can achieve will no doubt change my criteria in acquiring new pieces.
